AO
MODE LOCKER DEVICE
AOML- 50
APPLICATION The
particular Model AOML- 50 is mostly addressed to research labs.
SPECIFICATIONS
A
very high optical quality interaction medium material and durable
anti-reflection coatings are needed for the fabrication of mode
lockers to lower the insertion losses. In addition, because both
the acoustic velocity and the acoustic cavity length are temperature
dependent, it is necessary to maintain the AO medium -i.e. the composite
cell of the mode locker device, at constant temperature.
Our mode locker devices are manufactured using high quality fused
silica medium having anti-reflection coated windows made by vacuum
desposition method from layers of high optical resistance metal
oxides.
To achieve the best efficiency of RF signal to sound waves energy
conversion, we are directly bonding the thin layer piezo-electrical
crystal to the AO medium by using vacuum thermo-diffusion technology.
Also, to succeed the high-level thermo stabilization an electrical
thermo stabilization circuit is used.
